Evolving mobility solutions

When technology shifts, form and function tend to follow. Innovative building techniques have revolutionised cities and architecture continuously throughout history. The Functionalist movement brought housing and homes to a new level of perception, omitting redundant space and streamlining houses to fit the patterns of everyday life.

The automotive industry is no exception to this rationalist development. The first conventional cars were, in fact, motorised horse carriages. Today, the conventional gas-fuelled vehicle has found its own language. But new technology will always push forward new designs and new solutions.

Unlike most electric vehicles on the market today, TH!NK city is designed as a unique battery powered electric vehicle. It is not a converted conventional car – it is the future of car manufacturing, today: a full-blown electric vehicle, designed from the bottom-up, from the inside-out.

Think Global has been developing electric vehicles for 17 years. The new TH!NK city is the 5th generation electric vehicle from Think.

A modular approach to car making

One of our core competences is our ability to integrate all the unique components of the electric vehicle into a safe and reliable car. To do this, we design the cars in the same way that the grand masters of Functionalism designed homes; by starting from the bare essentials. TH!NK electric vehicles are designed around the battery cassette located in the middle of the car, under the seats. From that starting point, the car has been developed as a modular system. This makes the TH!NK city a vehicle designed not only for present-day electric vehicle technology, but also for future innovative solutions.
