Think among Europe’s Top 100

The American technology magazine Red Herring places Think on the list of Europe’s most promising companies in 2007. The magazine believes Think to be a spearhead in the production of cars of the future and is creative in many ways.

- To be placed on such a list, along with the best of the best, is a very nice recognition and us all at Think extra motivation, according to managing director Jan Olaf Willums.

Awards in Cannes

Technology companies from all of Europe were represented when Think received the distinction yesterday. 700 companies in total were nominated for the prestigious list. Companies from different branches such as communication, biotechnology, computer/software, media and energy are on the list of best technology companies in Europe.

All of the nominated companies are judged on technology development, innovation, administration, creative business models, growth and profit. – The fact that Think is selected for such an award proves that Norway in many ways is a progressive country with regards to electric cars. Previous Norwegian technology companies on Red Herring’s list are REC (2006), Mobile Media Company (2006) and Fast (2005) so we are in good company, Willums says.

New TH!NK city soon on the way

This winter, Think has collected 25 million dollars from new investors. Before the end of the year, a new generation of TH!NK will roll out of the production hall at Aurskog in Akershus. TH!NK city has new battery technology that allows you to drive 180 kilometres before it needs charging, a new design and improved safety.
